CEILING INSPIRATIONS – ACCENTS

Ceilings play a general part in the overall aesthetics of a room or an area. Careful detailing of it will either add beauty or destroy the overall look of the room. Usually we see the usual drop, depressed, recessed, and cove ceilings. Furthermore, these kinds of ceiling styles have been played with shapes like circles, squares, wavy and all the shape you could think of to give distinction to every area we look at. You might want to check previous post on ceiling inspirations like this. These particularly have been use commonly used to give depth and beauty to our ceilings as well as create distinct lighting effects. Other would be accent mouldings to give their ceiling exciting. Look at the images below for some inspirations.
Textures and colors have also been a key player in ceiling designs. Usually we see painted ceiling both in smooth and textured finish. Other make murals to their ceiling like what we see on churches, museums, etc. Others would use several colors or even use different materials to give their ceiling the look they wanted. The ceilings seen here are from a house being constructed at Sto. Domingo, Pampanga and the estimated house construction is around P12 million.

I'm a big fan of architectural details, whether it's a wall, in the curb appeal…or a ceiling! Those you've shown here are beautiful!
