LIST OF ARCHITECTURE BOARD PASSERS

I remember when I passed the Architecture Board Exam last 2002 my grade was 78% and the topnatcher in that year got a grade of 98 in the design and if I am not mistaken he got a 90+ score.  Now their top 10 is almost 80.. and that is almost my score…  Anyway I just remembered it and if I could have studied more hard I could had a better score. ..hehehehe… LOL.. bitter moments..

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Monday that 567 out of 1,548 or 36.63% passed the Architect Licensure Examination given by the Board of Architecture, held in Manila last June 26 and 28, 2009.

back in '84, the top one had a score of 83 and mine was 79! uap?
  • actually since oath taking I was never able to join any affiliation until now... I am planning to join one but do not know where to join or if I really need it because of time..why do you belong to uap or pia?
  • desperateblogger
uap. i was active for sometime then i stopped attending local meetings as they are not that conducive. also, most local members were males and i found it hard to be bff with them. :)
  • it is nice to see local architects here in the blogworld hehehe... but are you still active in designing or related industries...
  • desperateblogger
i'm not really "that" active for the economy dictates otherwise. however, i do get small projects from time to time. multi-level buildings? not for the last 10 years!
  • that is nice...hope you still have more projects in the future.. well I check out you over google wooh... how many blogs do you have btw...
  • desperateblogger
i only have two and not one is related to architecture. i've been thinking of putting up a home decor/design blog for so long now but i just don't have the time nor the juices to do it now. so, do you practice architecture?
  • well I work in a real estate as a designer... got some personal projects here and there... well I enjoyed blogging more but life is hard need to earn real stable cash... lol.. well you should put up one.. at least to show the more creative side in you
  • desperateblogger

SIDE THOUGHTS

  • Love isn’t a fairytale, it isn’t perfect, and it doesn’t always come easy. But it is something that we should hold on to for the rest of our lives, because it’s the only thing that’s worth fighting for.

  • Hero: someone we admire. Someone we look up to. Someone who gives us hope. Not a myth, or an icon, or a legend- someone solid, genuine and real. An ordinary person who does extraordinary things. A hero picks us up when we are down. Believes in us before we believe in ourselves. Inspires us to expand and embrace what’s possible. Helps us realize that we can be heroes, too - Kobi Yamada

  • Devil’s Pool - a small lagoon, enclosed by rocks, on the edge of one of the biggest, most beautiful waterfalls in the world, Victoria Falls. Set on Livingstone Island, at a height of 103 meters, Devil’s Pool is definitely one of the most surreal locations on Earth

  • Enchanted Well or Poco Encantado.  Located in Chapada Diamantina National Park in Brazil.  - This giant sunken pool is 120 feet deep and the water is so transparent the rocks and ancient tree trunks are visible on the bottom. Access to this pond is highly controlled for environmental protection of its rare and delicate ecosystem.

  • I don’t believe in fate or destiny. I believe in various degrees of hatred, paranoia, and abandonment. However much of that gets heaped upon you doesn’t matter - it’s only a matter of how much you can take and what it does to you — Henry Rollins
