SPACE FOR MEMORIAL GATHERING

The image above is a design I pass for the village I lived at.  They have asked me if I could provide design sketches for a small area where they could put additional room or area for various events but mostly will be used for memorial gatherings.  This design will be constructed beside a multi-purpose structure, a church and in front of a covered basketball court.

The proposed additional structure for memorial gathering will have its own bedroom, toilet and bath, kitchen and general area.  The overall design is simple as not to overpower the existing structures (church and multi-purpose) yet welcoming and warmth design.  These consideration in design was achieve by providing several sliding glass doors and over it is trellis to provide shade in the morning from the sun and in the evening from the cold breeze.

The overall design was also based on a certain budget where in the association could provide.  I hope this design could be implemented and if not and that is because of budgetary issues.

BADGES

SIDE THOUGHTS

  • Overcoming fights starts with forgiveness. All of us have faults and all of us hurt others sometimes. This is human, and holding grudges only hurts the one who holds it.

  • Jesus apparition on a frying pan.  Recently, Toby Elles from Lancaster, England and a 22-year-old brilliantly left the stove on after he was done cooking and after he took a quick boozey-snoozey, he realized his error and rushed to the stove.  Lo and behold, there was Jesus Christ, looking back at him with burnt eye of grease from the frying pan.

  • Love isn’t a fairytale, it isn’t perfect, and it doesn’t always come easy. But it is something that we should hold on to for the rest of our lives, because it’s the only thing that’s worth fighting for.

  • Hero: someone we admire. Someone we look up to. Someone who gives us hope. Not a myth, or an icon, or a legend- someone solid, genuine and real. An ordinary person who does extraordinary things. A hero picks us up when we are down. Believes in us before we believe in ourselves. Inspires us to expand and embrace what’s possible. Helps us realize that we can be heroes, too - Kobi Yamada

  • Devil’s Pool - a small lagoon, enclosed by rocks, on the edge of one of the biggest, most beautiful waterfalls in the world, Victoria Falls. Set on Livingstone Island, at a height of 103 meters, Devil’s Pool is definitely one of the most surreal locations on Earth
