filed in FUN STUFF, LIFE on Mar.16, 2009
I found this poem on my email sent to me last year 2006. I found it witty and funny and because of that I want to share it with you guys.
This poem was nominated in 2005 as best poem, written by an African kid:
When I born, I Black,
When I grow up, I Black,
When I go in Sun, I Black,
When I scared, I Black,
When I sick, I Black,
And when I die, I still black..
And you White fella,
When you born, you Pink,
When you grow up, you White,
When you go in Sun, you Red,
When you cold, you Blue,
When you scared, you Yellow,
When you sick, you Green,
And when you die, you Gray..
And you calling me Colored?!
Nice one…hahahaha…

Very funny kid. But his poem really shows the true heart. Direct to the point and has value.
