IMMORTAL, ATM SECURITY, LEGS, 999 AND ACIDSTONE
filed in FUN STUFF, MUSIC, TECHNOLOGY on Sep.09, 2009
This video was taken from ACIDSTONE AT NO HEROICS 2. Acidstone was playing one of their original titled ” Bagong Buwan.” I was supposed to post this for music monday but because of hectic schedule and tons of workload have to free my mind from blogging that day or just that baterya is not yet fully stable at that time. I have been watching this website for any downtime again but luckily it has been days and I see no problem.
Today is 999 or 090909 or September 9, 2009. Well it is one of those dates that comes once in a while. Just wanted to brag it out here.. LOL.
I found this new promo of GLOBE and it is called IMMORTAL. It says:
If you want texts with no expiry date, you can try the new IMMORTALTXT! For only P10, you get 50 texts to Globe/TM plus 10 texts to other networks that never expire as long as you maintain P1 balance. For more info, text IMMORTAL to 8888 for FREE
Actually, did not understand this. You only get to have 5o text to globe and 10 text to other networks but never expires as long you have have P1 balance. To anyone using this or know anything about this, please share some knowledge or light upon this.
When a thief forces you to take money from the ATM, do not argue or resist. You might not know what he or she might do to you. What you should do is to punch your PIN in the reverse mode.
I.e. if your PIN # is 1254, you punch 4521.The moment you punch in the reverse mode, the money will come out, but will be stuck into the machine half way out and it will alert the Police (security) without the notice of the thief. Every ATM has it; it is specially made to signify danger and help. Not everyone is aware of this.
I got this from a forwarded email, it’s from the BPI Asset Management. So remember this!
Do our banks really have this kind of security where it is connected to the police and they will actually know the exact location of the scene. Now please clear my head because I really have doubts about this.
LOL.. just some stuff I bumped into this morning… I am back but got to move… I am late for work… well.. what’s new? Hahahahaha..

I also received that in my email a few days ago – the ATM security thing. I think it's making the rounds in email these days. I also doubt if that's true.
But then again, i really don't want to be in a position to test if it is indeed for real.

wow. random stuffs ha.
hehe. thanks for sharing those. well, ung immortal txt, na-try na ng sis ko eh. ganun ata yun. basta ung 50 txts sa globe and 10 txts to other networks, you can consume hanggang maubos but no expiry. kasi before, like etxt20, you get the txt valid for 24 hours, unlike this.
walang expiry date. until maubos lang.
with the ATM thingy, i really don't think it's the case. well, i don;t really know. but might as well keep in mind right? malay natin. hehe. XDD just wondering though if there are really a bunch of policemen who are in watch of those alerts and if they can totally come on time.
you know. XDD

I got that email too a couple of weeks ago. I hope it is true but as to the point that police authorities will then be alerted,I doubt. Just like in typical Pinoy action films, ang pulis natin laging huli dumadating. tsk tsk. Okay seriously, if this were true,I think our banks and the pnp should have issued press releases or awareness campaigns about this to warn criminals, alert individuals, and lessen if not eradicate ATM-related crimes. For now,we can only hope it's true.

I didn't know about the English words for piki and sakang so thanks for sharing them. Hehe. I don't really care much about the Immortal txt coz i'm usually on unli anyway. Good thing majority of my friends are Globe users!
Not sure about the ATM issue if it's true or not, though.
