I found these two great future events here in the Philippines worth mentioning.   The first is that  Al Gore, the former U.S. Vice-President will be here in Manila to discuss about the environment titled “Face the Inconvenient Truth.”  This will be an updated Asian version of the “An Inconvenient Truth.”   This will be on the April 30, 2010 at the SMX Convention Center Mall of Asia Complex.

I remember watching “An Inconvenient Truth”  on HBO and I was shocked at the evidences they have gathered about the effect of global warming to our planet and if we do not act on it now, we might not enjoy Earth in the not so distant future.

The second event worth going will be the Reunion Concert of Juan Dela Cruz Band.  It is a two-part event which will be held on February 28 (yeah, its already shown) for the part 1 and March 28 (see! You can still catch them) for the part 2.

There will be many great guests players which will be a night like a festival of good jazz, blues and rock music.  One of  the guest artist would be The Jerks, another great band and one of my favorites.  If you do not know who the Juan Dela Cruz are, they are one of the for founding fathers of Pinoy Rock.  The released famous songs like “Balong Malalim,”  ”Ang Himig Natin,”  ”Project,” and many more great songs.  The members include Pepe Smith, Mike Hanopol, and Wally Gonzales.

Both of them will surely be a great one, so do not forget to come… Green and Rock and Roll.
