I was again clearing some emails when I stumbled into this. This story was sitting on my email since 2005 from a architecture yahoo groups. Sometimes answers to the problem you are thinking or experiencing right now comes from what you read or what you hear unexpected. So I would like to share this to you for it might enlighten you in some ways. Nice story, simple yet deep. Here it goes:
Once upon a time a big monk and a little monk were traveling together. They came to the bank of a river and found the bridge was damaged. They had to wade across the river. There was a pretty lady who was stuck at the damaged bridge and couldn’t cross the river.
The big monk offered to carry the pretty lady across the river on his back. The lady accepted. The little monk was shocked by the move of the big monk. “How can big disciple brother carry a lady when we are supposed to avoid all intimacy with females? Thought the little monk. But he kept quiet.
Planners play a major role to a lot of people. It is here that they put all their future schedules and important notes that they heard or read or need every day. These are primarily reason why a lot of people needs a planner or academic planners so that they will never lose track of time, schedule and notes with their busy days. I for myslef have my own planner and the best thing about this planner is that it looks much more like a notebook. It has more pages for notes than calendar boxes to fit your schedules like most planner nowadayds have. It has pockets for extra notes, calling cards, lotto tickets (hahaha), and many more. Lastly it has less useless pages to make the planner thicker or make it more nicer to look like what other planner have. I know there are already mobile samrt phones or PDAs you can use in replacement of planners but it still more accessible and easier if have a planner especially on meetings, it is easier to write all important notes than typing it on your qwerty or touch phones. Planner’s use will always be different every person but for me, I use it for work notes, blogging post drafts, sideline works, sketches, doodles and many more. So if you do not have a planner yet, it is not yet late to get one, it is only second month of the year. By the way you might want to check out planners you can customize they would certainly look great.
As the old saying goes, the greatest teacher or tool for learning you can have or anybody’s Life is experience. Telling stories of your own life or experiences can have an impact to your listeners or readers. Its because, you have already gone to that process that it adds credibility to what you are trying to tell or share. This is also the reason why I love reading someone’s blog especially personal blogs. Not only you can read someone’s experiences but also their opinions on certain topics. In addition to this, in personal blogs, you will never get bored on reading his entire articles because topics always differ from one post to another. One post could be about sports and the other would be music and the other would be about arts or fashion, or travel, or health, or jobs, or food, or places, or rants, or ideas and many countless topic you can think of. Or you could just think of things that you would like to share or make opinions of it and talk it out with your reader or listeners. So enjoy and learn through blogs.
Overcoming fights starts with forgiveness. All of us have faults and all of us hurt others sometimes. This is human, and holding grudges only hurts the one who holds it.
Jesus apparition on a frying pan. Recently, Toby Elles from Lancaster, England and a 22-year-old brilliantly left the stove on after he was done cooking and after he took a quick boozey-snoozey, he realized his error and rushed to the stove. Lo and behold, there was Jesus Christ, looking back at him with burnt eye of grease from the frying pan.
Love isn’t a fairytale, it isn’t perfect, and it doesn’t always come easy. But it is something that we should hold on to for the rest of our lives, because it’s the only thing that’s worth fighting for.
Hero: someone we admire. Someone we look up to. Someone who gives us hope. Not a myth, or an icon, or a legend- someone solid, genuine and real. An ordinary person who does extraordinary things. A hero picks us up when we are down. Believes in us before we believe in ourselves. Inspires us to expand and embrace what’s possible. Helps us realize that we can be heroes, too - Kobi Yamada
Devil’s Pool - a small lagoon, enclosed by rocks, on the edge of one of the biggest, most beautiful waterfalls in the world, Victoria Falls. Set on Livingstone Island, at a height of 103 meters, Devil’s Pool is definitely one of the most surreal locations on Earth
