I would like to present to you Baterya’s new logo.  It was designed and made by a very good friend.  He just did it because he’s bored and do not know what else to do (LOL).  He presented this to me in two different colors : one is this one, orange and the other is black.   I prefer to use the color orange.  I was looking for a great logo for baterya.  I made several but I was not contented with what I created but when my friend showed this to me I must agree and feel you too would, that this a great logo for Baterya.com.

That is the power of design, it so unpredictable, that anyone can have different outlook to an object, thing or an idea.  Well, I have been also reading articles about branding yourself in order for you to be recognize more and having a catchy logo is one of the first steps to consider.  I have been running this blog for  2 years now and it is only now that I was satisfied with this blog’s logo.  Do you agree?

It has been a long dream of mine to create a shirt showing baterya on it and maybe share it to some friends.  I think with this logo I could now make decisions about it.  Furthermore, I am now planning on creating a business card for this blog and have it send to a business cards printing company.  The card would include the services I would be offering like Architectural Services and other design services like graphics and stuff.  This is just an idea for now, I will be still think and analyze it further.  Any suggestions?

If I can remember it right, it has been 3 years since I bought my E61i  (image on the left).  Since then it was tortured to a lot of drops, being soak in a large softdrinks in Mcdonald’s, scratches, bumps, overused and a lot more.  Right now, it is still in good condition except for the 3 white lines that appear on the LCD.  I asked on mobile phone repair shop on how much would it cost me for it to be fixed and it is still Php1800.  I use it for my Sun network and I use my Globe on the Nokia Phone that my brother lend me.  But sadly, he would get it back from me next month.  So I have been looking for a new phone lately and because of  only have small budget for a new phone, I am considering these 2 phones for now.

First, I was looking at E63.  An upgraded version of my recent phone.  I would not have a hard time configuring it because it is almost the same as my e61i.  Here is its specification:

Bayan is inviting your grandfather (Lolo) and grandmother (Lola) for a free lecture on how to use the Internet.  They will teach them how to use the Internet, how to create an E-mail account, and how to create a Facebook account.  In addition to these, they could learn how to catch back episodes of their favorite teleseryes from ABS-CBN using I WanTV.  This will be on April 25, 2010 from 9 AM to 5 PM at Xavierville I Clubhouse.  For more information click on the image above.

I know this is already an archive to most of us but a small reminder would not hurt.  It is always better to be safe than never and knowing will always keep the danger away.  I was browsing over my email, I found this very interesting article about heating any liquid in a cup.  Usually I do this in the office to heat up my coffee and not knowing that we should be more careful when doing it.  So I am sharing this for everyone’s knowledge.  I have checked this out with hoax-slayer and have confirmed that this warning is indeed true.  See the email below.

My 26-year old son decided to have a cup of coffee. He took a cup of water and put it in the microwave to heat it up (something that he had done numerous times before). I am not sure how long he set the timer for, but he told me he wanted to bring the water to a boil. When the timer shut the oven off, he removed the cup from the oven.

I see different designs of houses every time and when a distinct house  caught my attention I stop in front of it and take a snapshot.  What caught my eyes to stare on it was the overall rustic feel of the house.  It uses and mixes accent mouldings and colors in a way that it does not overdo it.  Usually we see designs like this with different colors and many accents on it as an eyesore but this one is just right.  Just look at the gate, how many people would put butterflies on their design and not look as if it as somewhat a place for kids.   This is a very good design inspiration for all of us.  I just love the gate.

I saw this house somewhere in West Rembo in Makati City when I attended a friend and a colleague invited me to be the godfather of their son.  It was my first time in this place and I have to ask my friend and people to find it.  You will never expect a house like this on the area.  As we walk from the church to their house, I stumbled over this house and took a picture of it.
